Chit chat!

I am back. And boy, climate is searing over here!

Anyhow, the flight was really good. Great flight attendants. Nice dinner. And most importantly, it was on time. A rather funny incident happened while I stood in the queue for security check. You know how sometimes a silly song catches your fancy and you find yourself unconsciously humming the same. So here I was softly crooning Aashiqui yeh meri aaj ki to nahi, a la Akshay Kumar/Adnan Sami from Jaan-e-Mann, and this really tall guy in a black pullover and black jeans turns and looks at me. He looked somewhat bewildered. I looked surprised and it was definitely not pleasant. I mean, hello, Anu Malik?????????? I just did the quickest about turn I could and broke into a giggle marathon. Mom wanted to know what hit me. “Ma, it’s Anu Malik. It’s raining/paining Anu Malik’. Hahaha. And to think I was singing a song composed by him!!! Or so he says! :-P

Back home, life is demanding as ever. I have my work. Plus, my cousins have also come down. And believe me you, managing my 12-year-old cousin is not an easy task. He talks SO much. He’s non-stop, and I mean that as emphatically as a bucket of ink can convey, yakking about these Goosebumps books. Throughout the time I did grocery, took him to Crossword, treated him to BBQ cheese foot long sandwiches and strawberry sorbetto gelatos, he babbled about Goosebumps. He’s cute though, hyper too… simply because he’s brimming with impatient intelligence and breakthrough ideas.

While I was at Crosswords, I picked up The Complete Works of Lewis Carroll for myself. It looks very promising. And I most happy.

Feeling very, very, tired lately. Getting frequent headaches as well. It’s not lack of sleep though. I may sleep late but I sleep enough.

Ma tells me all these fascinating stories sometimes, to put me at ease, when I am stressing too much or when I am scared and can’t sleep. No matter how tired she herself is, she will weave a thrilling yarn involving talking cats, enchanted rabbits or lost owls till I slip in peaceful slumber.

Thank God for those stories. Thank God Ma never stopped acquainting me to them.

I wonder what she’ll come up with now, if I ask her to tell me a story again. Even the mere thought is so delightfully relaxing.

Ma…gic.

hahaha... :-D

He looked somewhat bewildered
Guess he must've thought... "Damn! I've heard that song somewhere! ... Just can't remember where!? But it sounds good... hmmmm... maybe I'll listen to it carefully and use it in my next movie!!"

:-P

Now I know how you're so good with imagination and stories! :)

Going by his past record, that's quite a possibility! Hee!

I have a long way to go. I haven't even moved yet. ;)

Anu Malik? Shouldn't it be something like Annu Malliek? Last I heard, he had changed his name to suit numerological beliefs. :P

Raining/paining Anu Malik! AHAHAHAHAHAH!

He's such a dummy, really! But I thank him for providing the fodder for innumerable jokes.
